"Its delayed not denied. Allah will come through for us. Keep the faith, refuse to give up. The best is yet to come. trust His plans for us"

You are allowed to be happy. Don’t forget that, because far too many of us do. The key, though, is to understand that happiness is not something that is just given to us. It is earned. We spend so much of our lives complaining and pleading for some sort of happiness to “come our way”, when in fact, happiness is something we need to work hard for. We’ve all heard before about how the things most worth having in life are also the things that are hardest to attain, so, just like success, good health, and righteousness, happiness too requires that hard work. And now that you know this, get out there, live your life, and be happy! No person experienced long term happiness by sitting on a couch all day complaining. Don’t try to be the first, because it’s an impossibility. I pray that Allah grants all of us the strength, zeal, and guidance to pursue and achieve happiness by any means necessary.

Sometimes, we go through struggles and battles in our lives or within ourselves for so long that we begin to wonder why things aren’t getting better. We increase in good deeds, we pray, we try to change everything about ourselves, so that we can maybe, just maybe, be “worthy” of freedom from that struggle. Sometimes, however, it’s not only about making a change within ourselves. That’s just the beginning. Sometimes, we need to experience something, and the struggle is protecting us from something worse or is preparing us for what’s to come. So, when you struggle with something, try your best to overcome it through strength, patience, and betterment, but always remember that your solution will come when the time is right for you. You don’t know what it means for something to be right for you, but Allah does, so hold tight, be patient, and never give up. Allah always fulfills His Promise. InsyaAllah
